A few things worth knowing
What to tell Chris about your pool
A few details let him quote accurately the first time. The address, so he knows which route day covers you. Whether the pool is screened or open, since that is the biggest factor in the weekly work. Roughly how big it is, whether it runs a salt system or traditional chlorine, whether there is an attached spa or a water feature, and what the water looks like today: clear, cloudy, or green. A photo of the pool and one of the equipment pad help more than a paragraph of description.
What happens next
Chris reads every request himself and usually replies the same day with a monthly rate. Weekly service starts at $150 a month for an average-sized screened pool, chemicals included, with no contract. If the water is balanced, your pool joins the weekly schedule on the next route day for your area. If it has gone green, he looks at it first and quotes a green-to-clean recovery; once it is back to swimmable, it goes onto the regular weekly rate.
Where the route goes
Honest Pool Service runs a fixed weekly route through Melbourne, West Melbourne, Suntree, Eau Gallie, and Viera. Each area has its own day, so you always know when to expect the visit. If you are just outside one of those areas, ask; the honest answer might be yes, or it might be a recommendation for someone closer.
If your pool is green right now
Say so in the form and, if you can, send a photo. A green pool is not a reason to be embarrassed; it is the most common reason people call in July. It usually means a pump stopped, a filter clogged, or a busy month went by without chemicals. Chris will tell you honestly what it takes to bring it back, whether that is a few heavy chemical visits or a full green-to-clean recovery with the filter cleaned and the floor vacuumed repeatedly over several days. Every recovery is quoted after he sees the pool, and once the water is clear it goes onto the normal weekly rate so it stays that way.
Switching from another pool company
Nothing special is needed. Tell Chris the day your current service ends and he schedules the first visit for the next route day in your area. He tests the water fresh rather than assuming the last company left it balanced, looks over the equipment so you both know its condition on day one, and texts you what he found. There is no contract with Honest Pool Service, so if you are leaving a company that had one, the only paperwork is theirs.
Seasonal homes and rentals
A good share of the pools on the beachside and in Viera belong to owners who are away for months at a time, or to homes that are rented by the week. Those pools are serviced on the same weekly day whether anyone is there or not, and the owner gets a text if something at the property needs attention, from a gate that will not latch to a pump that has stopped. If a storm is coming, Chris can tell you what to do with the pool before you leave town and what he found when he came back. Mention it in the form and he will set the visit up around how the house is used.

Call or text (321) 427-4127 weekdays between 7:00am and 6:00pm. If Chris is at a pool with his hands in the water, he calls back when he is done with that stop. Text is the fastest way to reach him during the day.
